I’ve already told you about the henna night of this wonderful couple – and now I can show you some of the photos I made of their actual German-Turkish wedding celebration in Erding, close to Munich.
Although the weather forecast was predicting cool temperatures and showers for the first weekend of April, we all woke up to sunshine and blue skies at a beautiful spring day.
For me the weather usually isn’t that relevant, I don’t mind, as I’ve told you when I showed you pictures of this small winter wedding in Munich.
I met the bride and her girls at the hair stylist Haarem in Erding. All of them had their hairs done and the incredibly talented cousin of the bride once again (as she did at previous events as well) did the make-up of the bride and her girls.
When they were finished (and were all looking gorgeous), we drove to the bride’s parent’s house for the second part of the Getting Ready with many relatives, lots of excitement and one of my favourite parts of a full day wedding coverage: the transformation to becoming the bride. She brought the gown from turkey and it is such an elegant princess gown with lace and lots of tull, without being “too much”. It was perfect for the bride – and was complimented by the beautiful bridal bouquet by wedding planner and florist Gülcan Yildirim of Anka Wedding & Events.
The bride just finished getting ready when we heard loud drums and music: the groom, his family and the rest of the wedding party had arrived! He had to work hard to get to his beautiful bride but the look in his eyes when he spotted her for the first time is absolutely incredible.
After a short prayer and the exchange of wedding bands surrounded by close family members, everyone started dancing outside, to the joy of all the neighbours!
The bridal shooting took place at the small castle/mansion Aufhausen in Erding, while everyone who waited had cake and coffee – and the reception and party took place at the Marriott Hotel Munich.
I can’t say enough how much I enjoyed being part of this wedding, to get to know their family and friends. Thank you guys, it was an honor and immense pleasure!
